Auroch Digital and V Rising
Members of the Auroch Digital herd had the great opportunity to work on V Rising, the Vampire Action-RPG Survival game from Swedish-based developers Stunlock Studios. Our task? Support the team by porting the game from PC to PlayStation 5.
Awaken as a weakened vampire after centuries of slumber. Hunt for blood to regain your strength while hiding from the scorching sun to survive. Rebuild your castle and convert humans into your loyal servants in a quest to raise your vampire empire. Make allies or enemies online or play solo locally, fend off holy soldiers, and wage war in a world of conflict.
Will you become the next Dracula?
Auroch Digital’s Work-For-Hire on V Rising
At Auroch Digital, we don’t just make great games, we also do Work-For-Hire projects using our team of experts and our decades of experience.
Auroch Digital worked closely with Stunlock Studios to bring V Rising from PC to console. We developed the console version of V Rising on PlayStation 5. Both the PC and console version of V Rising are published by Stunlock Studios. Check out V Rising on PlayStation to see Auroch Digital’s porting work on this title.
With the successful Steam Early Access release and thriving community Stunlock Studios had built, it was essential to maintain the core experience from PC that players had enjoyed but adapt it for console, namely, playing with a gamepad.
Sink your teeth into our case study to see exactly what we did on the port:
Do you have a Work-For-Hire project you’d like to collaborate with us on?
Every co-development project is a valuable opportunity for our team to improve our own processes and techniques by learning from the expertise of our partners.
But they're also an opportunity to share our team’s expertise! We are experts in porting of all kinds, from mobile to PC, from PC to console, even from board games to video game. We work with large and established IPs, on asset and content creation, and much more. We also offer publishing services alongside our porting work with our in-house marketing department.
Now that this project is wrapped up, who knows where the tide will take us next. We’re looking for another adventure for our crew, whether that’s a new Work-For-Hire project or another co-development opportunity. Our team is excited to get started!
